Amherst College Undergraduate Law Review (ACLR)

The ACLR is currently accepting submissions for their next publication, for any students who may be interested in submitting an essay that takes an interdisciplinary approach to law. Essays should fit within the ACLR’s content guidelines. All submissions should include an essay (recommended length: 10-30 pages), an abstract, and a submission form, and can be emailed to [email protected].

Dartmouth Undergraduate Journal of Politics, Economics and World Affairs (DUJPEW)

The submission deadline for the 2025 issue is Friday, February 7th, 2025 at midnight (EST). For more information regarding submission process and guidelines, as well as any other inquiries, please visit the website.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Submissions should be between 4,500 and 15,000 words in length
  2. Submissions should be emailed to [email protected]
  3. In addition, authors must fill out this Google form.
  4. Submissions should be attached to the email in the form of a Word or PDF attachment with the document titled: “LastnameFirstname_DUJPEW”
  5. The subject line of the email should contain the author’s full name and the title of the submission (Example: “Firstname Lastname — Title of the Submission”)
  6. Papers must be submitted by Friday, February 7th, 2025 at midnight EST

2025 Mobilization & Political Economy Summer Program
The MPE Program is an 8-week NSF-sponsored Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) site at the University of Pittsburgh over the summer. It is designed to help place students from underrepresented backgrounds in graduate social science programs. Program participants receive a generous stipend and are housed on campus at Pitt. Since Winter 2020, Humanities at Hertog has been devoted to a rigorous and exemplary educational experience that transcends the deficiencies of online learning. Hertog Foundation Political Studies Program
Each year, the Hertog Foundation brings together top college students to the nation’s capital to explore the theory and practice of politics in an intensive seminar setting with outstanding faculty. Political Studies Fellows take courses in a wide variety of subjects, from political philosophy to contemporary public affairs, from economics to foreign policy. Hertog Foundation War Studies Program
The Hertog War Studies Program is an intensive two-week program run by the Institute for the Study of War in Washington DC. The program aims to educate advanced undergraduate students about the theory, practice, organization, and control of war and military forces. Students will learn from and interact with distinguished senior leaders in the national security and military communities. This course bridges the civil-military divide and teaches students at the start of their careers how to assess military decision-making. It is not an international relations course about why wars occur.

The Journal of Policy Analysis serves as a platform for rigorous, nonpartisan policy discourse, bridging the gap between scholarship and policy. They invite you to submit thought-provoking articles that address contemporary challenges and propose forward-looking solutions.

The Journal of Policy Analysis welcomes submissions across a broad range of policy areas, including but not limited to economic policy, technology policy, social policy, environmental policy, foreign policy, and healthcare policy. Forum for American-Chinese Exchange at Stanford University (FACES) 2025 Winter Summit

The Forum for American-Chinese Exchange at Stanford (FACES) is an international organization based at Stanford University, representing a global network in the United States and China. Center for Nuclear Security Policy (CNSP)

The Center for Nuclear Security Policy (CNSP) at MIT is seeking Nuclear Security Junior Fellows to serve as research assistants for faculty, researchers, and fellows on topics related to nuclear security. Fellows will report to the director of the Center for Nuclear Security Policy. Recent college graduates who are interested in nuclear security are encouraged to apply to this 1-yr program, which would begin Fall 2025, includes MIT benefits and can be renewed for a second year. This is an ideal position for someone interested in gaining research experience in political science with an interest in nuclear security before pursuing graduate education.

Nuclear Security Junior Fellows will provide research assistance and support projects for associated faculty, researchers, and fellows under the direction of the CNSP director. They will perform research, collect, organize, and analyze data, coordinate multiple research-related projects, summarize and document findings, proof-read research papers and articles, assist with fact-checking, editing, formatting, and other support for faculty, researchers and fellows working on nuclear security topics. They will work on issues of nuclear deterrence, nuclear proliferation and nonproliferation, decision making, nuclear history, and other areas of nuclear security.

The Security Studies Program at MIT is a graduate-level research and educational program based at the Center for International Studies at MIT. The senior research and teaching staff includes social scientists and policy analysts. A special feature of the program is the integration of technical and political analysis of national and international security problems.
